Our Journey

Our journey began long before the current AI hype. In 2016, our founder traded a career as a physics professor for the industrial trenches, driven by the belief that AI could revolutionize how we innovate. At industry giants like Lam Research and Applied Materials, he pioneered the use of AI for complex process optimization, developing systems that slashed R&D timelines by 30x and became CEO-mandated platforms.

He saw firsthand that the right AI, tailored for the messy, "little data" realities of the physical world, could find solutions that human experts couldn't. But he also discovered a critical barrier to adoption: these 'black box' tools often recommended changing everything at once, making it impossible for scientists to trust the process or understand the 'why' behind a black box result.
